Fat Duck - they'll never bounce back from this, will they?

I have to say that part of me (the part of me that thinks that ice cream shouldn't have a "scrambled egg and bacon" flavor) is vaguely pleased that this restaurant has stumbled... But will they ever recover? Is this something that a Michelin star can pull a restaurant out of?

If the food is outstanding and there is no litigation...probably. Would the British forgive Fat Duck?

And in Holland, one restaurant has given back its Michelin star - they claim because the star makes patrons expect something posh & expensive. Leave it to the Dutch to prefer informality & value over praise. I actually love this story. :o)
