Movie trilogy thread

Anyone out there have suggestions on movies that ought be watched soon after each other? These three flicks offer a great variety of takes on Warhol: "Basquiat": "I Shot Andy Warhol": "Factory Girl": Another suggestion: Downtown 81, Wild Style, and Beat Street.

I've been wanting to rent "Don't Look Back" and "I'm Not There" to watch back-to-back... any suggestions for a third?

It's not full-on Dylan, but Hayden Christiansen goes through the motions decently enough as the talented troubadour in "Factory Girl". There's probably a better third out there, somewhere.

There was a Scorsese-helmed Dylan doc that aired a few years bac on pbs that was pretty good - I wanna say it was called 'No Direction Home'

Oh, that looks really good, DU! I humbly present my planned trilogy: The other obvious one being "A Hard Day's Night" "Help" and "Let It Be". ("Magical Mystery Tour" and "Yellow Submarine" don't make my cut)

So you've got Dylan being Dylan in Don't Look Back. You've got other people being Dylan in I'm Not There. Seems like the obvious complement to those is Dylan being somebody else in Masked and Anonymous (2003) or Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid (1973).
