Planes hidden in the sand don't get used to attack targets. Same goes with hidden WMD in Syria.
The hard evidence of Syria holding Saddam's illicit toys is a quote from Rumsfeld, "Another possibility is they gave them to some other country or hid them in some other country.", is not very compelling. It's also really old news:

I'm open to the possibility that at some point, nuclear, chemical or biological weapons developed by the Hussein regime will be found. Like I said before, lack of finding them isn't definite proof that they never existed,
What becomes clearer and clearer with each day is how ineffective Saddam's weapons where. Where is the threat from dismantled weapons buried in the sand? The policy of containment, while flawed, was a safer and cheaper alternative to what we've gotten ourselves into.
