'The Stranger'

Albert Camus gives new meaning to the word "amotivational". Three sittings for this little book. Now I understand existentialism, or rather, now I've really thought about existentialism. Amotivational isn't really correct, I think the thrust of the book is that life itself is all the motivation one needs. I really liked the book's style. Possibly captures "stream of conscious" best. This is how my mind rambles, forget Joyce's attempt! The lack of emotion throughout the book also adds to the basic premise. The first book I've finished after aborted attempts at Gravity's Rainbow and Lord Jim.

Robert Frost would agree.

I attempted '100 Years Of Solitude.' Too many characters to keep up with easily. Might go back to it, or just start the Neal Stephenson trilogy.

Isn't "The Stranger" when you sit on your hand for an hour before you masturbate?

With what or whom, precisely, would Robert Frost agree?

Whatever I Choose It Amounts to the Same: Absolutely Nothing.... That whole, walk in the woods, which road to take thing. In the end, it doesn't really matter.
