Tarantino
Watched Kill Bill Vol. 1 last night. A very enjoyable flick. I kept thinking, throughout the movie, "Wow, he's really doing it, this is more Kung Fu than Kung Fu." The manga scenes really worked, too. Thurman seemed wooden, but, I guess that's the character that she and Tarantino dreamed up while shooting Pulp Fiction.
I might need to pick up Tarantino's entire ouevre (all 4 movies, maybe even True Romance).
After ejecting the DVD (after watching all the trailers... Reservoir Dogs looked really grainy), who was on Charlie Rose? Quentin. He's a lovable egomaniac, to wit: "Just my God-given talent.", "I wasn't writing a script, I was writing a novel.",
