Nirvana With The Lights Out

If you can get yrself to Target or Walmart (spare me the politics please) during the first week of release, you can obtain this for approx. $27 USD

If you have a soul, you'll be out between $40 and $50 USD.

Highlights so far:

Listening to the 'Rape Me' demos with Frances Bean screaming in the background

the skull crushing riffage of Scentless Apprentice

The hamhanded Heartbreaker Led Zep cover from some drunken party on the first disc

the Thurston Moore Liner Notes

Haven't checked the DVD yet, but I know what will be in my cd player while Im flying to DeeeeeeTroit....

Just gotta vaccum some more, clean the oven, mop the floors and putty the walls and then it is Ta Ta to New Hampshire....

And the packaging! Totally amazing.

There's the metal bit on the front, which looks like a license-plate sized tintype. Then there's the back and the inside, which is the color of old negatives- you can see various reel-to-reel boxes, etc. underneath. When you leave your hand on the package for a while, it works like a reverse mood ring- the obscured stuff underneath becomes clear.
