I don't have anything to say, but I'm writing this because I don't have anything to do. Is there a correlation?

Yes, this "new media" is purposefully designed to make it easier for people without anything to say and those with nothing to do get their thoughts across to other people with nothing to do and without anything to say.

It sure does. That's why I have three blogs.

Possibly, MFGR is on hiatus.

Message boards though...
This was new technology, in, what, 1988?
We all know newsgroups are the way to go, however, anyone know any decent BBS sites out there?

Message boards are ok.
Blogs are like watching people masturbate:

I would forever bow to your geekiness if you made rideside dial-up.
Wow.

Hey, don't knock the dial-up, it's almost like making fun of 8 tracks.

What are the chances that there's still an old 617 BBS up and running?
Maybe we should crash a 2600 meeting and find out (do they still have those?).

The Boston meeting is by the pay phones at the Prudential Mall- I think it's the third Thursday of every month.
