Let the love-fest begin! The Social Security fracas follows standard operating procedure for this administration.
  1. Realize you can't garner support for your policies based on their merits.
  2. Start a conflagration around the issue with ominous declarations of impending doom.
  3. Propose policies written by the parties that stand to gain the most, fiscally, from those policies.
  4. Grin, wave, and raise the American flag.
  5. It doesn't hurt to imply that your political opponents might be gay.
