Vegas, you sassy chica! I've always been the impulsive type myself, not one to play by "The Rules", but a lot of ladies do swear by 'em. But I do have to say that being genuinely busy/active is a natural aphrodesiac... and being out of town next weekend lines up rather nicely on that score.

Have fun in Vegas, mama! Where are you staying? I stayed at the Luxor when I went with my 3 gal-pals a few years back (great deal right after 9.11 - I know, I'm a vulture). The gambling wasn't my scene, but the glamour and the cocktails were very much up my street. You planning to make some moulah?

I'm staying at the Paris with two guy friends from college. Should be interesting. Flying into LA, where one lives, and driving in with him...driving back with both (the other is flying in from NYC on Friday).

Looking forward to a spa treatment at the Mandalay Bay, hitting the Liberace Museum, and getting a little well-deserved sunshine.

Not sure about the gambling. Will drop a little in Sin City, but since my rent is going up, I need all I have in the bank. :)

Totally down with the glitz and shmaltz.

The date was okay. Not attracted to the guy. And, it turns out that I like a guy to at the very least offer to pay for drinks. This one didn't. Apparently I do have some standards.

On an up-note: I got an email from a high school friend's mom (who I'm friends with, too), and she wants to set me up with a 35 year old guy named Andy Fagen when I get back to TN!

This is getting a little crazy. I'm cool with that, though. Bring on the men!

Ahhhhhh! He emailed me back again, and I can't get the butterflies out of my stomach...and can't seem to write him back just yet. He's really eager to talk with me, which is good. But, I'm in LA and trying not to be a rude friend to the fella I'm staying with here. Hoping that he's not all pissed off and jealous (Ben, not Louis). Whatever. This is a very interesting predicament to be in. Guess I'll have to really keep track of it for my first romance novel. Speaking of which, I'm currently reading "Lessons in Seduction ." It's hot. Seriously, it's hot.
