Total Kenobi Has a Posse

Walkin / Visitin Harvard Square this weekend to buy some new obnoxious free jazz @ Twisted Village this weekend. Saw Sir Alec Guiness on the back of a traffic sign near the lovely cafe Matt Damon and Minnie Driver had coffee @ and where I hung out w/ BQ and Mike Fournier a few labor days ago (2003? ) before seeing 'American Splendor' I have a feeling Ill be looking for these like I used to scope out the "Adhesive X: Live Free Or Don't" stickers of yore...

That Labor Day the Sox played Philly and Trot Nixon hit a grand slam to win the game 11-9. That shit was sick.

You were not at the Tasty Diner in 2003. It closed in November of 1997.

OK, after poking around it seems the Tasty may have closed sometime in '98, but it was gone when I moved to Somerville in Oct. '98... Note: The Tasty had to be around in '96 and I believe spring of '97 for "Good Will" filming. Am I going to go get a BLT and then hit Twisted Village, or do my laundry?

Im not talking about this 'Tasty' place at all.. I mean the outdoor coffeeshop... wasnt it Au Bon Pain @ one time.... _______________________________

My Zorn-Free List of Twisted Village Reccomendations: - Otomo Yoshihide - Acid Mothers Temple - Albert Ayler - Peter Brotzmann -Ennio Morricone soundtracks (the more italian looking and weird artwork on the front, the better, usually at least...) I just bought the bird with crystal Plumage (at least thats the english translation...eerie stuff) -Rova Saxophone Quartet - Anthony Braxton BTW: Got a Used Black Flag CD (!) 'First four Years' for $9 USD through one of their used cd e-mail sales a couple a weeks back... _______________________________

The Pamp? The Pain! Cafe Pamplona is closed now, right? Or is it back?

We looked at the game and hung out at Shay's. I think Pamplona is closed- loved their Sanka.

Any Ennio Morricone/Dario Argento collaboration is worth checking out, musically and cinematically. Might I recommend a netflix moment? Bird with the Crystal Plumage mmmm, freaky italian horror...
