Damn. I listened to that interview three times on Sunday (at the end of the 9am Weekend Edition on WBUR, during the 10am Weekend Edition, then again during the 11am Weekend Edition on WGBH).
I was going to post how once an act is on NPR, they're basically over as far as creative instinct might be concerned. It's like the SI cover photo curse for indie music. Still, though, Masada Rock sounds interesting.
I like how they slammed klezmer, or at least, slammed people who regard klezmer as the beginning and end of Jewish music.
