When you're the best at any sport, you have a competetive streak that might get you into trouble - Pete Rose, Michael Jordan, etc... No surprises.

No, Gretzky retired. Is this a press move? Like an NHL exec is thinking, "We need a Gretzky story, and I don't care what it is. That'll get the fans back."
