snow drifts were so big here, we couldn't let Maddie play outside. It is kind of important that we dont lose her, you know? ;)

I was at a casino in Mississippi this weekend and there were 3-5" there...which wouldn't be so bad if they had plows or salt and sand. Good thing I was inside, warm, smoky and liquored up!

I lost Maddie in a casino the last time I was in Mississippi...

My Dad has a great story where he recounts how I disappeared on a Boy Scout trip to New Mexico. I was asleep on the bus for about 3 hours. He hadn't noticed until well into the third hour. My mother loves hearing that story.

Reminds me of the time I got separated from my parents at the beach when I was a little kid. I asked a cop if he thought we'd find them. He said "I dunno kid, there's so many places they could hide"
No respect. No respect.

My parents used to regularly forget to put me in the car after Sunday School. I still resent them for it.

Hell, my mom forgot to pick me up from sleep-away camp. Never mind all the times I got left at day care.
Of course, she also drove to Tyringham to pick my sorry ass up after my abortive AT New England experience. She says we're even, I think I'm still in the black in my trauma book.
