Burrito Max Closed

I went Kenmore on my lunch break to get a Barbecue Tofu Burrito. But no dice. Sign Says "The Burrito Lady and all the employees have gone on to other things."

No.. more.. fried... fish... burrito. Is that true? Do they service fish at El Pelon? Why you going to Burrito Max when El Pelon is around the corner? I guess the difference is 20minutes walking.

I actually work in Copley now. But I had to go to the Phoenix for some coupons. El Pelon has a far superior fish burrito. muy bueno

In 1998/1999 I worked in kenmore and was a frequent Burrito Max customer (good and cheap). It's sad to see the demise of funky Kenmore Sq., no more Captain Nemo's, Planet Records, Ratskellar et al. and I know I'm an old fogey, but Kenmore used to have a cinema where in the 70's it was 2 for 1 movies like the ol' Harvard Sq. cinema.

I saw some army-type movie there with a friend at BU back in the day, and when the lights went out in the theater, that's when the rats decided it would be cool to snack on floor popcorn and lap up a little spilled soda. Laura refused to put her feet down for the entire movie. I had closed shoes and didn't care quite so much. I think the movie was Courage Under Fire.
