Food for Thought

Last week I went to the Cheesecake Factory with my folks for a bite to eat and came up with a great idea and need your input. For years I've thought about opening a restaurant and here's one idea for a salad...what else would you suggest I put in it? The See Ya' Later Salad Beets, corn, black beans, tomatoes, arugula and baby spinach, peas, goat cheese Thanks for the input on the output!

This is supposed to be a post-breakup pick me up? Or does this mean you'll see me later as I'll be on the throne for about 20 minutes? MORE RAISINS!

You have some really hearty flavors in there already with the earthy beets and the peppery arugala. I would hate to see them masked by a dressing that would overpower like a balsamic. I would dress the whole thing simply with a flavorful olive oil, spanish ones are nice and peppery to go with the arugala. I like the ingredients as is but I would also pick a sweeter tomato such as small grape tomatoes and roast them to bring out another level of flavor. Hope this input helps and I might have to try out the recipe on my own.

If you mix in some purple Kool-Aid the colors will be more vibrant.

brush off those Better Off Dead DVDs/VHS/BETAs/etc: "it has Raisins... you like Raisins!"

It's not about a break-up. I'd go for crasins over raisins in this one.

That sounds pretty good. But, to go with the theme, I think the dressing would have to be lime juice, olive oil and zaatar. The sesame seeds add that extra something special...also my favorite spice mixture!

My theme antenna is low, help me out.
