Romania is winning with a wonderful selection of half liter beers for 35.000 ROL or 3,5 RON (~ 1.25 USD). My favorite so far is <a href="http://www.ursus.ro">Ursus</a>. King of Beer in Romania.

My preference might be because it's all bottled beer in Romania, elsewhere, it's from the can. Generally a rich golden lager, instead of a thin Pils-style.
