Incontinence
So, Ovlov, my 20 year old Volvo 240 GL (which I've owned for 13 years) needs Depends. Okay, a bottle of Coolant Stop Leak did better, but yesterday I spent much of the intensely hot and humid day trying to plug my leaking radiator, and shopping for another car. Went to Carmax with my bro and sis-in-law and the kids, and found a couple of cars I liked. A Nissan Maxima, a Saturn L200, and a Mazda 626.
Anyone have suggestions of makes/models/years? Where to shop for a used car?
Within the next two weeks I hope to find something!
1. A huge 70s boat with longhorns attached to the hood
2. A classic beetle
3. A zippy Honda civic in purple
4. A 'smart' car-- the kind you can park sideways
5. An 80s pickup
6. Some kind of Subaru
7. A Mini, either old or new.
1. Saab 900 - going to test drive one tomorrow
2. BMW 318 - dont think i can get this as every BMW driver is a wanker and cyclist killer (BMW motorbikes excluded)
3. Audi something or other - Audi driver are just BMW drivers with fewer anger management issues, not sure if this would work
4. MkII Golf GTI - bit of a chavmobile but fun to drive
5. something non european.... any suggestions?
and the arguments over them are even better.
I didn't know it could get any better than the pictures, but it does...

The only problem seems to be the hit to the trunk. Trying to figure out if the frame was damaged. If not, I may have found my new car!
Only partially related... my mom was a cabbie when I was first born. Found out this weekend that her cab was a '71 Plymouth Satellite... same year and model as my current car. Small world, big trunk.
Mustangs are pony cars, not muscle cars.
There's an RX7 for sale down the street from me.
1997, 105k miles, full saab service history, stealthy black
bargained him down to 925 quid from 1400 asking price, I dont think he was prepared for the combined assault of 2 shipbrokers in full on attack mode
Almost bought a '99 Infinity...I think they're asking too much for it, but it was a sweet ride with a sunroof and a Bose sound system. Definitely a step up from Ovlov's fast forward/eject cassette stereo with the one moderately working speaker.
Looks like I'm going to test drive everything with a motor this weekend.
