The Best Fireworks Ever ?
Every year everyone sees the Beantown fireworks and says "This was the best year ever!" I have never liked how everyone says that every year- so carelessly- as though they don't understand the magnitude of the statement they are making.
So, despite my pre-disposition to dislike the statement, I'm going to make it:
This year's fireworks were the best ever.
