I know this album came out a little while ago but I just got back into it. The songs are really funky and well produced. I guess the jury is still out on his lyrics but I think they are pretty hilarious and there's a sea fagen

1. I think the 'Sexx Laws' single came from an obscure reference, or fagen, if you prefer, to an ODB lyric in the 3rd Verse of 'Don't You Know' on the Return To The 36 Chambers LP (thanks to OHHLA.COM):
"Pulled down my draws, dropped to her knees
Ripped of my draws as if she had claws
broke the rules that defined sex laws"
(warning: full lyrics are base, not bass, and aren't ultra work appropriate)

still haven't figured out where on beck's site you can do this from...
I hate hard to navigate sites...
ok just figured it out - you go to the top cutsey boom box playing thing and click on playlist, scroll down to 'acropolis Now' exclusive
this is such a non event - Pitchfork made it seem like the whole album was up - Beck doesn't even note it as from the new album, it just says 'exclusive'
