New cringe-worthy word...

tickler Used in a sentence, "Put this one in your tickler file" I get an automatic, visceral reaction; first shakes and sweats, then nausea. I have to do a little deep breathing to make it go away.

I started cringing at that word/phrase when I worked for the Bob. That's when I developed the ProB (Procedures Book) for his two homes and business. Ugh. You have my sympathies.

Tickling should be reserved for babies and sleepover parties-- friends and families. It crosses some line to use the word at work. It makes me think of lecherous old men.

Reminds me of the time my siblings tickled me until I peed. Not a good memory.

Wow. I love tickling and being tickled. I've never been tickled by anyone at work, though. The word conjures up memories of giddy giggles, squeals of helpless laughter, and that wonderful feeling when you think you might burst with happiness but then you don't and you're so glad that the moment can go on and on... I'm one of those people that doesn't "get" people who dislike being tickled. I don't force my tickling on others, but oh do I love being tickled.

i'm a tickle-crite. I love tickling Maddie, but can't stand it when people tickle me. If I pay the rent, can i tickle other family members that dont without too much more fear of justification or cognitive dissonance?

Wow. Tickle-crite...I do the same to my neices and nephews.

I am aghast! I always assumed that only those who enjoy tickles dish them out. I can't help wondering if this ticklecrisy on the part of the tickler might lead to a certain difficulty in judging when the ticklee has truly had enough? As a tickle-lover, I only tickle when no restraint is used whatsoever. My rule of tickle-finger (rule of thumb = icky origins) is that escape must be always easily accessible.

Maddie Nigs ALWAYS has the advantage of an easy escape.
