Baseball note for 7/19/06:

Earlier tonight, Greg Maddux (lifetime record of 325-199, 3.07 ERA) pitched against Roger Clemens (342-175, 3.07). Possibly the last time in our lives that two 300 game winners pitch against each other, barring Clemens' retirement coinciding with Glavine maybe winning 300. Clemens won, 4-2.
