We All Love Ennio Morricone
From the Oscars last Sunday here is the tribute with Clint Eastwood's introduction omitted - not to worry - it was awkward cue card stuff - he apologizes for not wearing his glasses (Warning - Clint Eastwood flubs his lines horribly and they chose Celine Dion instead of past collaborator Joan Baez to sing after the film montage) it still is worth a view.

Also, I saw a review of a new Morricone tribute on <a href="http://www.popmatters.com/pm/music/reviews/11838/ennio-morricone-we-all">Pop Matters</a> this week (Metallica doing Morricone? weird)
note: I did not pay Pop Matters for their John Zorn reference - I swear)
