We saw more dogsled races this weekend, on Chocorua Lake. It has been conclusively demonstrated that golden retrievers are a bad stock choice for competitive skijoring.
But that's not the reason for this post.
The reason for this post is to give you fair notice of the upcoming sheepdog trials at Roger Deschambeault's farm in Center Conway, on the weekend of the 2nd-3rd June.
Mark it on your calendars. It's the same weekend as the midnight moonlight hike (take 5). Since I'll be up in NH for the hike on Friday night anyway, I'm hoping to spend Saturday relaxing in Madison, then head over to see the sheepdogs on Sunday.
