I have *no* clue. Here we go!

I can't get in.

Gotta have a Yahoo ID.

Okay, I recognize some of the teams... Ohio State, Wisconsin, et. al. But Kentucky? Duke? I didn't even know these schools had division-1 teams!
I predict a playoff choke by Notre Dame this year. Not sure if Minnesota and UNH have the chutzpah on their rosters to go all the way this time around, either. Could this finally be St. Cloud's year?
Wait, we're talking about hockey, right?

Post of the day!
Posted by tendiamonds on 2007-03-12 17:43:01 +0000
Yes, and I have one, and I used it, and I couldn't get in.
Posted by tendiamonds on 2007-03-12 17:47:50 +0000
Now I'm in, I don't know why I couldn't get in before.

DU DU UMLAUT WILL CRUSH THE OPPOSITION IN ONE SWIFT STROKE
Posted by tendiamonds on 2007-03-18 14:28:55 +0000
I has Washington St winning it all, so I'm going to enjoy my first place spot for a while, and then watch it go.

10D, Ranked 506 out of 1.8 million nationally? Am I reading that right?
What was with the Wash St. call? I like it, but it is odd.
Posted by tendiamonds on 2007-03-18 16:14:57 +0000
No, I'm 3880 overall, up 506 from yesterday. I didn't see where the total was.
Washington St? I have no idea. I used a "formula" that I made up, and they came out on top. I know nothing about any of the teams participating, other than that they all represent schools that are better known for their athletics than their academics.
Posted by tgl on 2007-03-18 16:53:24 +0000
"formula"... snicker.
Posted by Epoisses on 2007-03-18 19:49:13 +0000
The "formula" is destroying the rest of us.
Posted by tgl on 2007-03-19 13:36:32 +0000
Well, my Wisconsin pick isn't looking so hot right now.
Posted by Epoisses on 2007-03-19 15:18:20 +0000
I have four picks in the sweet sixteen.
Posted by ConorClockwise on 2007-03-19 15:41:45 +0000
I just looked at 10D's bracket. I love the 1 vs 3's with the 3's all winning.
Posted by tendiamonds on 2007-03-19 15:51:01 +0000
It's a crucial part of the "formula".
Posted by Epoisses on 2007-03-19 15:51:13 +0000
A+.
Posted by tendiamonds on 2007-03-23 12:42:09 +0000
I'm going to throw it out there. Although Du is the clear favorite to win this, I'm calling DickinCheney's for the big comeback.
Anyone in on the outside of the pool pool?
Posted by ConorClockwise on 2007-03-23 14:49:06 +0000
Thanks 10D, I think I need Kansas to win the whole dance, though.
Posted by MF DU on 2007-03-23 15:14:32 +0000
Shit. The powers that be now block Yahoo sports access. Fuck.
Posted by Epoisses on 2007-03-23 15:22:40 +0000
That would be a sick comeback.
Posted by tgl on 2007-03-26 20:03:47 +0000
I think I have a chance for second, at least, if UCLA beats Florida, Ohio St beats Georgetown and then UCLA beats OSU.
My only scoring opportunity is if OSU wins another round, but that gives DDU points. UCLA beating Florida robs jbc of a couple points, and he doesn't have OSU advancing (nor did he pick Georgetown to make the Final Four).
What's up with Men's Hockey? BC all the way?
Posted by tommy on 2007-03-26 22:54:43 +0000
Egads, anyone but BC!!! So many reasons to dislike that team, especially this year.
I have a slight preference for Maine, but would gladly accept North Dakota or Michigan State.
However, BC is the highest ranked team (#3) left. UND is 6, MSU is 12 and Maine is 15.
I think I'll puke if I have to watch Brian Boyle holding a trophy. Yuck.
