Twin Donuts vs Dunkies
After being dropped off at the New Balance outlet to pick up some size 3's for my nephew, I decided to do a coffee & donut taste test. First I hit the 50's style Dunkin Donuts on Market St. and got a small coffee with a glazed donut. Decent coffee, decent donut.
Then I hit Twin Donuts. Way cheaper, way better donut, but some of the worst coffee I've had in years. I was reminded of what Bickford's coffee was like in the early 90's. So it's a toss up really...

twin donuts is great place at 6 in the morning. I would usually get a fig square and a croissant.

they make a damn good fig square at the twin. THe flaky covering is a little bit more of a croissant consistency than a fig newton. It's an asian owned place, so I kinda wish they would bring the asian pastries but I'll settle for their interpretation of american pastry.
