I CHALLENGE YOU!!

after the very enjoyable 1st mini golf of the year I had a idea...

The Route 1 Olympics!!

A day or weekend of competitively playing all the "sports" Route 1 has to offer

mini golf
batting cages
air hockey
bowling
eating at Kowloon

(what else is there? go karts? pool?)

we can make an insanely complicated scoring system to argue about and keep hydrated with slush puppies.

who's in?

I'm in. Definitely include pool, bowling can be candlepins and 10 pin (big balls), not sure about go-karts, what about pinball and of course at Kowloon's, Scorpion Bowl drinking competition.

Is there duckpin on Route 1?

I'd love to compete in the Route 1 Olympics. What a great idea.

It would appear the lanes with duckpins closest to Route 1 are in Billerica. BTW: CTP was the mini-golf winner w/Glib a close second.

We could end the night with some dancing at Caruso's diplomat, and some carousing at the golden banana. Oh yeah, and we might want to eat at the place we always used drive by when going from UNH to Boston on route 1 that had all the polyurethane cows outside. (Or Kelly's Roast Beef - Im not picky)

no dates as yet - perhaps this can be decided on the upcoming mini golf tour - i work weekends so will have to plan at least a wife and small child length of time in advance so you should be good
