maybe pedroia, and lowell can turn it on. i don't have much faith in lugo, drew, or coco (The Rally Killaz) to do much. manny can't do it all man. shame on francona for not starting ellsbury when 2/3 of your outfield sucked ALL YEAR! and lester looked good last night. maybe he should get a start in the WS if the sox can come around.

any pitcher who wins 15 games is gonna get $$$. he's a rookie, why blame him? blame the folks who put drew, lugo and crisp on the field. then push the guy who lets them keep playing even though they aren't producing (0 RBIs collectively) off a fucking cliff. infuriating to try to watch this series. i especially hate JD drew. this guy just doesn't fucking care.

I don't think it's fair to judge whether JD cares by the look on his game face. He plays stoically, which has no bearing on his caring.
He has sucked though, and the GM is an idiot for ponying up so much cake for him, regardless of how he plays for the next couple of years.
