Krausen envy
the back porch brewery was in full effect this weekend, bottled my 1st batch of pale ale, tastes ok for a first attempt and will improve with conditioning and once it has some carbonation to it.
i made a batch of cider consisting of:
5 gallons wholefoods cider
white labs english cider yeast
yeast nutrient
im going to introduce malo-lactic culture after the initial racking
virtue made a batch of Hefeweizen consisting of:
1/2 lb. 20L Crystal
1/2 lb. Cara Pils
6.6 lbs Wheat Extract
White Labs Hefeweizen yeast
Hop Bill:
1 oz. Hallertau for 60 min
1 oz. Hallertau for 20 min
both carboys are bubbling furiously and smelling good
