I saw The Runaways at The Rat. A highlight of my adolescence, don't forget Cherrie Currie who was just as naughty and hot, but obviously less talented than Ms. Jett and Fox.

I put that selection in just for Epoisses. If he isn't the one vote logged in for those she-devils, I'll eat my hat. I maybe should've put in selections for "Pretty Boys" instead of creepy boys (I'm thinking Simon LeBon, Rick Astley, the boys of Bros). Or maybe I should've added some movie stars in for good measure. Can I claim John Cusack for "Soulful Lyricists"? I mean, he's pretty soulful. And, um, he uses words. It's his art!

I realized why I feel guilty every time I flip by a Madonna 7" and don't buy it. She was recording perfect pop and filming legit videos, while I was trying to figure out if I was right or left handed.

The w*nk comments crack me up - was I the only one who started before junior high? Prince's video for "When Doves Cry" (early 1984 - I was still only 10 and in 5th grade) blew my mind. That bathtub scene? Still gives me shivers.
