You know - the scene where they lay the girl down in the "Robot Brainwashing Facility" and a laser is about to wipe her brain clear and tern her into a servant...

Robert Forster (he stole <i>Jackie Brown</i>) and Ernest Borgnine (remember the <i>Wild Bunch</i>?) pretty much rule.

Maybe not a great sci-fi flick, but it was intertwined in my childhood and I like it...

If you are talking about THe Black Hole, hell yeah. The scene with Maximillion in hell is incredible. The scientist creating robots out of people is great. Kind of reminds me of FlashGordon. Which may be a bit hokey, but the soundtrack is great and there are some great scenes. Ecspecially the one where Flash battles the soldiers using football plays. classic
