Putting sliminess and Cesar Romero back into The Joker.

People keep saying Nicholson was the be all end all - but it will be like 18 years by Summer 2008.

nicholson was great, but wasn't exactly what the joker is in the comics, he was just a great actor in a role. the new joker seems to be going for plausibility a little more than tim burton, so it seems like he will be a good joker. completely deranged. i can't tell, but it looks like his make-up is hiding some kind of scarring, so i guess they are still rocking the chemical-burn angle.

Wow.

Coulda watched for another hour, even though the film was 2.5 hours long. Great script and performances. Enough subtexts to justify academic attendence.
