Lee "Scratch" Perry Apreesh Post

Listening to the 3 disc "Arkology" set put out by Island in the late '90s. 50 some odd tracks from the late '70s and all more or less amazing. So far, I am partial to Junior Murvin's 'Police and Thieves'.

I played the crap out of Secret Laboratory during my time on WCBN.

I saw Lee Perry at the Middle East about five years ago. It was supposed to be his last tour ever. Show sold out at $25 a head. He was back six months later and still touring as of last year. Perry does his crazy man routine, but as long as the Mad Professor is on the sound board it's worth the price of admission.

Played some Murvin a few weeks ago - I need a serious dub / reggae infusion. Does anyone have enough material to stage a followup to the REM immersion (DÜ said hopefully...)
