It's not looking good if you picked two #16 seeds.

Random Selection isn't working out too well. I think Stanford could win it all, though. Will that make up for me having Portland St in the finals?

Posted by ConorClockwise on 2008-03-21 14:48:59 +0000
Um, tgl's Final Four is pretty ugly.

Posted by jbcardinale on 2008-03-21 15:08:24 +0000
USC killed one of my brackets, but the rest is all chalk.

Posted by dyedon8 on 2008-03-28 06:26:12 +0000
Shit = tight.

Posted by tgl on 2008-03-28 18:58:50 +0000
I got points for Xavier advancing to the round of 8. For the rest of the tournament, only Stanford can add to my total.

Posted by tgl on 2008-03-28 19:01:17 +0000
Everyone else picked Xavier to go that fair as well, natch. ...and I didn't really "pick" anyone. I just kept hitting random until a school I recognized was the winner of the tournament.

Posted by ConorClockwise on 2008-03-29 04:10:01 +0000
It is a decent game right now. Could come down to the finals...

Posted by tgl on 2008-03-29 13:44:56 +0000
Once again I find myself saying: "damn you! texas!"

Now I wish I had actually made my picks. Not that I'm really following this thing other that looking at the final scores.

There's no Fantasy Frozen Four?

I have dinner plans tonight, so, no road trip to Albany.

...OK, that's enough links for a Saturday morning.

Ouch. The UNH Wildcats lose to The Fighting Irish (is there any other kind?) of Notre Dame in the first round.

Olde joke tgl.

Posted by tgl on 2008-04-01 00:05:07 +0000
The Drunken Irish?

Ye Olde Drunke Irishe

I've realized I'd like yahoo to let me see the worst brackets, like in "low ball"/worst hand poker, and then see how close tgl got this year... What's your percentile, tgl?

Posted by tgl on 2008-04-04 04:02:58 +0000
23 of 60 gives me a 7th percentile showing (for now).

Posted by ConorClockwise on 2008-04-07 19:27:21 +0000
Victory is mine.

Posted by jbcardinale on 2008-04-07 19:38:14 +0000
Well done.

The champ!

Posted by dyedon8 on 2008-04-08 07:46:23 +0000
Not only is Conor the new champion, but he:

a) correctly predicted the final two, and
b) GOT THE SCORE RIGHT.

A toast!
