Photo in a show

Looks like one of the photos I took in Sfat, Israel last June is going to be in an exhibit! The opening reception is April 17, and will run through the end of May, when it will then travel to Memphis. Pretty excited about it. The photo is of a mother and daughter walking through Sfat on their way to lunch. My mom and I ended up at the same little restaurant, and it turned out that the daughter knows someone who grew up in Knoxville, who now lives in Jerusalem. Very small world.

Thanks, gang! I'm pretty excited about it. Kind of nice to have some recent art recognized in a public space.

Thanks! Reminds me that I still need to develop the 3 rolls of film I took at your wedding!

Big ooops!! Maybe they'll be a couple art shots? Did you refrigerate them?

CC, I've found 2 old disposable Kodak cameras which I used (I think) when I was dating someone I broke up with in early 1996. Should I even bother trying to get them developed?

Absolutely, sometimes these can be fantastic! Just don't be surprised if everything is grainy, dark, blurred, and you lose the last 3 or 4 shots entirely.

Thanks, CC! I really appreciate your advice. If anything decent comes of it, I might even scan 'em and start a Flickr account. (gasp!)

Definitely did not refrigerate them. At this point, they've been in my house (mostly), with the one exception of bringing them back to Boston last April to be developed at the then defunct Ferenti Dege store in Harvard Square, which developed most of my film over an 8 year period. I'm partial to matte finish with borders, and they did them really well.
