Fire!

Tomorrow (today I guess), Sunday, 4/20, at approximately 10:00 AM. I will be setting my lawn on fire. Well, a small spot in the back, on which I will dispose of about 7 years worth of brush. If you're bored, come on out.

The fire was wicked big. My neighbor and his two kids helped me keep it moving, and brought over a ton of their brush, too. The X-Mas trees were exciting. Regrets:
  1. Not noticing the birds nest in my old wreath until I was about to put it in the fire... and then finding the broken eggs when I went back to where it had been (still on my front door)
  2. Allowing an ember to float undetected past everyone and set ablaze a bunch of leaves in my kids' playground.
  3. Allowing another ember to float undetected and burn my daughter
  4. Allowing the tree branch 50 feet above us to catch fire, and only having about 40 vertical feet of water pressure

4/20 is Marathon Day next year, so it's possible. It will be on a Saturday in 2013.
