Tomorrow (today I guess), Sunday, 4/20, at approximately 10:00 AM. I will be setting my lawn on fire. Well, a small spot in the back, on which I will dispose of about 7 years worth of brush. If you're bored, come on out.

The fire was wicked big. My neighbor and his two kids helped me keep it moving, and brought over a ton of their brush, too. The X-Mas trees were exciting.
Regrets:

<li>Not noticing the birds nest in my old wreath until I was about to put it in the fire... and then finding the broken eggs when I went back to where it had been (still on my front door)</li>
<li>Allowing an ember to float undetected past everyone and set ablaze a bunch of leaves in my kids' playground.</li>
<li>Allowing another ember to float undetected and burn my daughter</li>
<li>Allowing the tree branch 50 feet above us to catch fire, and only having about 40 vertical feet of water pressure</li>

4/20 is Marathon Day next year, so it's possible. It will be on a Saturday in 2013.
