That's true, it isn't.
Would you actually use the social calendar if it were called "SocialCalendarForRideside" instead of "SocialCalendarForQ"? I wouldn't object at all to making that change, if tgl is OK with it.
Or is your objection to the idea of having a social calendar at all? If so, I apologize. I've been trying to promote the calendar because I find it useful myself; I've been operating under the assumption that if it's languishing, it's because of a lack of public awareness, not because of anyone's actual antipathy to it.

The ribbing doesn't make me feel good.
It's true that at the moment most of the upcoming events on the calendar are excursions I've planned. That's why I'm trying to urge other people to post events there.
But if you look at the past fifteen months' worth of social calendar postings, most of them were put up by people other than me.

No, though it's sometimes a courtesy to check in with the person who constructed a page before you make a big change. Since you invented the social calendar, it seemed like the polite thing to do to run the idea by you.
