Kill Bill Vol. 2

I enjoyed the first volume more, but vol. 2 is the better movie. ? Stupendous. I'm not sure it matches the hype. Ostentatious. It really is the intersection of Shaw Bros. Kung-Fu and Spaghetti Western. That really says it all. There are all these classic elements... Why can't I shake the feeling that I'm watching a big joke between Thruman and Tarantino? I'll give it up to Michael Masden's character as the most interesting.

After watching both, I kinda thought that II was better, and that in a lot of ways, I was pretty disposable. You didn't really need to see both to get what was going on in the second one, but the first makes you wanna see the second, if that makes sense. Second was more tightly wound, more restrained. Yeah, Madsen's character was very interesting indeed.

Gotta give it to Volume I simply because of the cartoon. Shit = ill.
