ALCS Game 7
Lowe and then Arroyo in the 6th? Or the other way around?

Let me redirect your energies to Game 5.
One day at a time, I hope the team is thinking solely about tonight. Commentator on TV mentioned how the RS need to think like the Pats. You can't win 20 games in a row by thinking about the 20th. Every day is like a week right now.

Tuesday is Sunday at Carvel.
Arroyo/Leiber?

Shit, it's too bad McCarty isn't on the roster, he could start game 7

He looked sad in the dugout last night.

Poll: What should Barney Grove wear to ALCS Game 7?
a) Something orange
b) Something red
c) "86 the Curse" t-shirt
d) Posada jersey
Okay, I don't own a Posada jersey. Look for me in the upper deck somewhere.

Barney should wear his 'Jeter has AIDS' shirt.

Barney,
Are you actually going?
No shit.

I said it last night:
1) Get yourself a black t-shirt with big white lettering: "CURSE".
2) Proceed to get blindingly drunk.
3) Get 86ed by the guys pulling the taps.

Opening solicitations for ALCS Game 7 poems.

With all our thoughts of Curt and Tizzle
gettin' clutch to pull us through
Let's think ahead to all the others
Whose silence means that they are due:
Johnny Baseball, o-for-somethin'
Manny, kinda just okay,
Kapler, Eyechart, even Nixon,
Someone's gonna pave the way.

Crickets, man... All'y'all must be out partying, it's quiet in Concord.

One word to describe being at this game, unBELIEVEable.
I think I was too high up in the stands to make it on camera with my "86 the Curse" sign, and I had to walk a fine line to make it out alive. But it was triumphant. Seeing those long balls to right field sail into the section right below mine: priceless.
Tried to hitchhike my way back to Boston, but no one would give me a ride. Can't help feeling like if the situation were reversed I would have had an easier time getting a ride to NYC.
I still would love to see Boston basking in its afterglow, though. Who knows, I do have tomorrow off, maybe it's time for the new truck to make it's first visit...

Tonight was amazing, Yoav. You should come check the city out tomorrow.

I think it was my poetry that propelled the Sox to the pennant.
