21 ain't shabby, do the '03-'04 Pats need to go all the way to the Super Bowl to be considered as good as the '72-'73 Dolphins?

I have so tried to focus on the Pats, but its just engrained in me to follow one thing at a time, and there is now way I had the commitment on Sunday to catch the Pats and then WS game # 2....
21 is pretty boss IMHO though...

Depends.
They currently have the streak for most games won in a row when you include post season and when you don't include post season. The only record that the NFL actually acknowledges is the one that doesn't include the post season (note this record does allow for the streak to span seasons).
People argue that parity destroyed the game, watered the talent throughout the league. Other's argue that parity *helped* the league. So I think now the Pats are recognized as a truly great team in a time when there aren't any great teams. Sounds dubious at best, but, we'll take it.
