do the right thing people

As a slightly distaining foreign(ish) observer, convinced that American imperialism is going to drive the world to the next dark ages i have just read the nation, fox news, al jezeera and bbc website articles on the election. (oil market is dead quiet, waiting for the result, im bored) Its quite amusing to watch spin in action. vote wisely, the world (that bit east of Cape Cod and west of Alaska) is depending on you.....

Hey you limey Brit... keep your nose out of our business! ...oh yeah, you're a limey American living in the UK. Can nationals living abroad vote? Military personnel can, what about private citizens?

I can vote, i think.... I spent about 10 hours on the phone trying to get registered in Florida (last place in US I resided, even though it was on a boat) no joy with any of the election people down there, anyone would think its the presidents brother overseeing the election commission or something. I wrote to the Nation, Michael Moore all the other candy assed lefties i could think of, still no joy, by then I had missed the deadline for registration in mass I guess I will just have to vent all my frustrations by voting against Blair in a year or so

To quote some of y'all..."UK out of America!" Wait...that doesn't really make sense.

I read an article that said that oil prices had dropped as a result of you 'crude' chaps predicting a Kerry win. Sounds like the oil industry has already given up on their champion. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20041102/bs_nm/markets_oil_dc_14
